Donna "Dee" Henderson

Donna M. "Dee" Henderson, 79, passed away at 3:40 A.M. March 21, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Donna was born June 29, 1932 to John W. and Mabel L. (Eads) Edenburn in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers Warren, Everett, and Lyle Edenburn, and by two stepchildren, Ronald and Linda Henderson. She is survived by her son, John H. "Jack" Zillion of Peoria, her sisters Shirley Baldwin of Peoria and Patricia McCoy of Green Valley, sister in law Velda Edenburn, and a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Donna also leaves behind many lifelong friends including her roommate, co-residents and staff at Rosewood Care Center. Donna was a competitive dance skater who also enjoyed gardening, crafts, and the outdoors as well as being a homemaker and caretaker. In addition to a modeling career she had previous employment with Max Factor in California and Morton Pottery in Illinois. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services will accord cremation. Visitation will be held on Friday March 30th at Wilton Mortuary in Peoria from 5pm until 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday March 31 in the chapel at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Pastor John LaFollette officiating. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Rosewood Care Center, Methodist Medical Center and Methodist Hospice.
