Earl "Bob" Demanche

Earl "Bob" DeManche, 84, of Peoria passed at 10am Wednesday February 22, 2012 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on August 7, 1927 in Milford, MA the son of Alex and Ruth Johnson DeManche. He married Ellen M. Markham on May 29, 1957 in Salem, VA. She survives. Also surviving are his children Cynthia Davis of Saxapahaw, NC; Earl R. (Debbie) DeManche Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; and Sue Ellen DeManche (John Rathbun) of Peoria. Also surviving are two grandchildren Robert M. Davis and Alex T. DeManche. Also surviving are two sisters Ruth Duffy of Uxbridge, MA; and Arlene (Robert) Miller of Pensacola, FL. He was an honorably discharged WWII US Army Veteran. He worked for the federal government for many years before retiring in 1988. Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for 10am Friday February 24, 2012 at First English Lutheran Church with Rev. James Lillie officiating.
