Edna Jacqueline Collins

Edna J. Collins, 77, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Saturday May 26, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center of Peoria. She was born on November 4, 1934 in Chicago the daughter of Everett E. and Edna M. Tursum King. She met the love of her life, Gene F. Collins and on August 25, 1951 at the age of 16, they married in East Peoria. Surviving are three sons Gene F. Collins Jr., Douglas E. Collins, and Mark K. Collins all living in the Peoria area. She is also leaves behind a granddaughter Meghan Collins and a grandson Alex Collins both of which she dearly loved. Cremation Rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Wildlife Prairie Park.
