Edward Z. Ellis Sr

Edward Z. Ellis, 53, Peoria passed away on May 1, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Ed was born on April 23, 1962 in Peoria the son of Richard and Ruth Coleman Ellis. He married Lisa Appenheimer on April 3, 1993 in Toulon. Surviving are his wife, three children Edward (Amanda) Ellis Jr. of Washington, Chasity Smith (Justin Meacham), and Noah Ellis all of Galesburg. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, three brothers David (Oliva) Ellis John Ellis both of Peoria and Daniel (Julie) Ellis of Creve Coeur, IL. One infant son Jacob R. Ellis, two sisters Ruth Pinkowski and Deborah Scott, preceded him in death. He worked for FCA Manufacturing in Princeville for several years. He previously worked for Bemis Bag and Peoria Charter Coach CO both in Peoria. He was a member of the Toulon United Methodist Church where he served as the audio and visual technician. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorial services are scheduled for 11am on May 20th 2015 at Toulon United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service. Memorials in his name may be given to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
