Elaine Parrett

Elaine Elizabeth Parrett, 94, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Loft Rehab of Peoria.

She was born on August 7, 1931, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd and Laura Stringham Lindsay. She married Robert A Parrett on August 15, 1953, in Peoria. He passed away on November 23, 2008. Five brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Mary (Ron) Cox of Peoria and Nanette Parrett of East Peoria, Illinois, as well as her son, Kim (Janie) Parrett of Tabor City, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. 

Cremation rites have been arranged, and a private inurnment of her and her husband Robert's remains will take place at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
