Elisabeth Bain Grogan, born Oct. 8, 1956, at LaGrange Hospital, passed away January 18, 2025, at the Grand Regency Home in Peoria, Illinois. A longtime resident of Clarendon Hills and Westmont, she was the beloved mother of Amy Grogan and Katy Grogan (deceased), sister to Roger Bain (Linda), Cynthia McDonald (David) and David Bain. Preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Roger Bain. For decades, she courageously battled the effects of lupus, always maintaining a positive outlook. She loved painting, all John Prine songs, dancing to rockin' blues music, adored her cat, Boots, was a fan of Bernie Sanders, and ceaselessly advocated for those in need, including stints providing in-home elder care.
