Elizabeth B. Johnston

Elizabeth B. Johnston, 77, of Peoria passed away at 9:13am Wednesday May 18, 2011 in the Emergency Room of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on May 14, 1934 in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Dwight and Margaret Lemley Brooke. She married Robert Johnston in Des Moines, IA. He passed away on January 13, 2001. One son Scott also preceded her in death on August 14 1997. Surviving is one daughter Jill (Keith) Chvatal of Wheaton, IL one granddaughter Christina Johnston of Madison, WI. One brother Phillip Brooke of Green Valley, AZ as well as her daughter-n-law Chikako Johnston of Madison, WI and one niece and one nephew also survive her. She was registered nurse and nurse practitioner working for Planned Parenthood for over 30 years. She was a passionate member of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria. Services will be 7pm Monday May 23rd at the Universalist Unitarian Church in Peoria with Michael Brown Officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
