Elizabeth Shannon

Elizabeth J. Shannon, 75, of Peoria passed away at 7:30am Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Unity Point Health-Proctor. She was born on January 21, 1941 in Peoria the daughter of Harold L. and Jean E. Wooley Swords. He married Ronald Shannon on August 2, 1991 and he survives. Also surviving is one daughter Debi Maddox of Denver, CO; two sons Marty Scheuttler of Creve Coeur, IL and Kevin Scheuttler of Peoria, IL; three stepsons Dennis (Alinia) Shannon of Morton, David (Holly) Shannon of Greenville, SC and Patrick (Laurie) Shannon of Springfield, IL as well as several grandchildren and step grandchildren. Further surviving are three sisters Joy (Ron) Poucher of Golden, CO; Cheryl (Bob) Stejskal of Hanna City, IL and Dianna Meyer of Dunlap; one brother George (Marcia) Swords of Hanna City, IL. Her parents and one grand daughter preceded her in death. Cremation Rites have been accorded with private family services. Memorials in her name may be given to Easter Seals Central Illinois.
