Esther Leatherman

Esther A. Leatherman, 78, of Peoria passed away at 4:13pm Tuesday, December 2, 2015 at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria. She was born on January 24, 1937 in Eureka, SD the daughter of Herman and Ludwina Gabriel Bieber. She married Warren Leatherman on November 30, 1961. Surviving are two sons Mike (Mary) Leatherman of Anchorage, AK; Robert Leatherman of Peoria and one daughter Donna (Mike) Peters of Metamora. Also surviving are two grandchildren Keven Peters of Metamora and Sean (Cassie) Leatherman of Peoria. Further surviving are two brothers Harvey (Olin) Bieber of Alton, IL and August Bieber of Lead, SD; one sister Millie Vanderwerff of Lead, SD. One brother, one sister preceded her in death. She was a CNA at Lutheran Hillside Village for 20 years retiring in 2003 Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
