Evelyn I. Anderton

Evelyn I. Anderton, 91, of Peoria passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 27, 1925 in Cranston, RI, Daughter of James and Hannah Dewis Glennon. She married Paul C. Anderton on June 12, 1954 in Graystone, RI Surviving are her husband of Peoria, IL; one daughter Linda (Frank) Valente of East Peoria, IL; two sons Paul J. (Jeannine) Anderton of Houma, CA and Peter (Veronica) Anderton of Peoria, IL. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, 5504 N. University Peoria, IL. Pastor Mark McCall will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service. Memorials in her name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
