Everett Sary

Everett Sary, 53, of Bartonville passed away at 6:38pm Sunday January 22, 2012 at the home of his sister Carole after a courageous battle with stomach cancer with his family by his side. He was born on June 17, 1958 in Peoria to Michael and Virginia Ralston Sary. Surviving is his mother of Bartonville, one brother Michael (Eileen Ordover) Sary Jr. of Louisville, KY; three sisters Dianna (David) Chiow of Boulder, CO; Jeanette (Luis) Perez, and Carole (George) Colburn all of Peoria. Also surviving are 4 nephews. His father preceded him in death in 2002. An avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bulls, he was a dedicated writer and a talented artist. He loved fishing, a passion he shared with his father, and his family will always remember him telling the story of the one that got away. Cremation Rites have been accorded with private family services. Memorials may be given in his name to the Alpha Park Library.
