Faye M. Hobbs

Faye M. Hobbs, 75, of Pekin passed away at 3:02pm Saturday, April 14, 2018, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on December 7, 1942, in Sycamore, IL the daughter of Elbert and Helen Davis Elliott. She married Thomas R. Hobbs.

Surviving are one daughter Jill (Scott) Carpenter of Pekin and one son Tom (Michelle) Hobbs of North Pekin. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren Candice Rosenbohm, Brandon Carpenter, Miranda Hobbs, Brody, Austin, and Anthony Dunker, and Jett Rademaker. Further surviving are 5 great grandchildren Blake, Bryson, Brogan, Brady Ray and Sophia. Her parents and four sisters preceded her in death.

She worked at Pekin Kmart, Pekin Menards and last working at Pekin Community Bank.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be from 4:00pm until 5:30pm Thursday April 19, 2018 at Bridgeway Church, 3216 Veterans Dr. in Pekin. A memorial service will then be at 5:30pm also at the church. Pastor Jeff Stark will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS), 100 taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554.
