Frank Tipton Ii

Rev. Frank E. Tipton II passed away on February 18 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on July 5, 1954 in Peoria and is survived by his sister Debra S Tipton and Scoot, Niece Hallicia and Todd, Great Nieces Analicia and Trinity Welsh. His extended family William and Lorraine Sephus, Tom and Karen Whitby, Michael Bell, Jason Elder and daughters Bailey, Brooke, Breanna, and Antal and Lucy Baksai. He was preceded in death by his mother Beatrice. Frank was a graduate of Manual High School, Fort Wayne Bible College and was ordained By The Evangelical Church Alliance. He had many accomplishments in his life, beginning his work with the South Side Mission of Peoria where he coached youth basketball, the Salvation Army where he again coached Basketball along with being in charge of the Family Services Department. He was Chaplin for the Illinois Department of Corrections and was Pastor at Bellevue Bible Church. He worked at OSF St. Francis Hospital for the last 16 years the last six working in MRI Department. Thanks to the Staff of OFS 3rd floor, NICU 4th floor ICU and Forest Park 1700 for their outstanding care for Frank and to his family. He was a loving son, best brother, uncle, and friend, and will be missed but always remembered. Cremation rites have been accorded with a Memorial Service on Monday February 27, 2012 at 6pm with visitation 2 hours prior to the service both at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills. Memorials may be made to Easter Seals Central Illinois or to the Southside Mission of Peoria.
