Gene A. Venzon Iii

Gene A. Venzon III, 47 of Yates City passed away unexpectedly at 11:52pm Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 19, 1967 in Peoria the son of Gene and Nancy Walters Venzon. Surviving are his mother, Nancy Venzon, daughters Elizabeth and Sophia, sisters Deanna (Greg) Bledsoe and Jodi (John) Miller, several nieces and nephews, and one great niece. His father Gene Venzon Jr., grandparents Gene and Mabel Venzon, grandparents Marshall and Dorothy Walters, and one aunt Nancy Venzon preceded him in death. Gene was a 1985 graduate from Spalding Institute. Cremation will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held at the Universalist Unitarian Church in Peoria on Wednesday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m. The Rev. Michael Brown will officiate.
