George Brush

George D. Brush, 84, of Peoria Heights passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 21, 1928, in Lewistown to Joseph L. and Rachel E. (Hedden) Brush. He is survived by his sister, Ollie Weese of Lewistown, sister-in-law, Wanetta Brush of Lewistown, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Vern, Jimmy, Paul, Ernie, Robert and three sisters, Mildred Chambers, Ferne Wilson, and Maxine Wilson. George attended the Free Methodist Church in Lewistown. He was loved by all who knew him, and was a happy and friendly person and be missed greatly. Cremation rites have been accorded with graveside services will be held at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Memorials may be made to the Free Methodist Church, Lewistown, IL.
