Georgette E Madison

Georgette E. Madison, 56, of Washington passed away at 5:05 Saturday December 31, 2011 at Washington Christian Village after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 5, 1955 in Peoria to the late George A. and Barbara I. Williams Madison. One sister Kathy M. Layne also preceded her in death. Surviving are one brother Greg A. (Patty) Madison of Brimfield, and one sister Christine A. (Paul) Burns of Peoria as well as several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing pool with her pool league and adored her family and friends. Her warm heart and caring soul will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cremation rites have been accorded with a Celebration of Life Service in honor of Georgette at Second Baptist Church, 6417 W. Farmington Rd in Peoria at 5pm on Wednesday January 4th 2012. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her name to Illinois Cancer Care in Peoria or to Second Baptist Church or to TAPS.
