Gilbert Perry

Gilbert Jerome "Feel Good" Perry 64, of Peoria, IL, was suddenly called home January 11, 2021. He was born January 10, 1957, in Marianna, AR., to the late Oneal Perry Sr. and Josephine Parham. He attended Anna Strong Elementary and Whitney Elementary in Marianna, AR. Gilbert was baptized at St. John's Baptist Church in Gibson, TN. He was employed by Cam Car and ABC Cleaning Co. for many years. He enjoyed watching basketball, football, and spending time with his family. Gilbert leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, Chrissa Perry Taylor, Chanel Perry, and Lisa Perry, all of Peoria, IL., four brothers, Oneal (Shanah) Perry Jr., Ronald Perry also of Peoria, IL, Donald Harden Perry, and Greg (Sharon) Harden Perry of Dallas, TX, and Sylvester Perry of Atlanta, GA., and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, one sister Doris Perry, two brothers Christopher Webb and Bryant Perry, special family, friends, cousins James (Edith) Perry III and Darwin Anderson, and friend "Shot Gunn Nunn." The Perry family would love to thank everyone for the calls, cards, and prayers. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
