Frances "Gini" Kessler of Peoria passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1947 in Tallahassee, FL. the daughter of the late William F. and Frances V. Lewis Cox. She married Darcy Kessler on July 18, 1996 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are her two children Michael Sullivan and Sarah "Kate" Holland of Peoria, one granddaughter Lillie Sullivan and one grandson Nathan Holland, two brothers Frank (Sherry) Cox of Birmingham, AL; Fred Cox of Dublin, GA; two sisters Susan (Joel) Whitley and Elizabeth (John) Gregory all of Birmingham, AL. Words can't describe how amazing Gini was. She was an avid lover of life, God, helping people, and had many interests including calligraphy, photography, and loved to travel the world. She worked as a realtor for the Jorgensen Real Estate Group in Peoria for several years. She also owned and operated "Photography by Gini". Gini was an advocate for cancer patients at Unity Point Health-Methodist. She was very loving, positive, and supportive with her friends and family and will be missed dearly. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be on Thursday June 26th at Northwoods Community Church in Peoriad from 5pm until 7pm. Memorial service will be 10am Friday, June 27th also at the church with Pastor Calvin Rychener officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Northwoods Community Church C/O Miracle Camp Scholarship for kids to give kids the opportunity to know Christ.
