Gladys Fritz

Gladys M. Fritz, 96, of Peoria, IL passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at John C. Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria.

She was born on January 4, 1929, in Jamaica, NY the daughter of Franz and Meta Wallat. She married John Fritz in September 1949, and he passed away on November 21, 2012, in Peoria.

Surviving are four children Diane Corley (Hal) of Summit, NJ; Philip Carlson of Bliss, NY; Larry Fritz (Jennice) of Elmhurst, IL; Susan Obery (Marty) of Edelstein, IL. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jonathan Carlson ( Jenn), Amy Fritz Janken (Chad), Lindsey Fritz Zerbian (Rich), Ellen Fritz Karalis (Nick), and Peter Corley; and by her great-grandchildren, Blake and Grant Janken; Greta and Ramona Zerbian; and Cora and Hannah Karalis. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Fritz.

Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date. Memorials in her name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
