Gloria Sisk

Frances Gloria Sisk, 78, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, and Louisville, KY, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2014, at her daughter's residence in Normal, IL. Cremation has been accorded and her memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Plainfield Friends Meeting, in Plainfield, IN. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service. She will be interred at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN, alongside her husband. Gloria was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in Louisville, KY, to Frances Roller and Homer Gray. Her husband Charles Sisk preceded her in death on April 11, 2011. She is survived by her daughter Kim D. (Paul) Garris, granddaughter Gabrielle J. Garris, and grandson Ezekiel R. Garris, all of Normal. Other survivors include niece Linda Heinz and nephew Richard D. Heinz, both of Jacksonville, FL. Although born and raised in Louisville, where she worked at Phillip Morris as an adult, Gloria spent much of her later life in Indianapolis, where she worked at Sears after retirement. Gloria loved bingo and MCL cafeteria. The family would like to send a special thanks to OSF hospice for their wonderful care of Gloria.
