Goldie Ann Lingenfelter

Goldie Ann Lingenfelter, 73, of Peoria, IL, passed away at 2:40 am on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on January 9, 1948, in Pekin, IL, to James and Rose (Schappaugh) Helmig. She was married to Ralph E. Lingenfelter for 31 years.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph of Peoria; two sons, Anthony Newtson and Christopher Newtson (Angie Grishaw); and grandchildren, Zachary Newtson, McKenzy Newtson, Turner Grishaw, and Bethany Grishaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Goldie was an accountant working in the retail industry. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Peoria. She was a spiritual woman and involved in many church activities. She touched the lives of everyone with her homemade dessert baking. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at First English Lutheran Church in Peoria on Friday, September 17, 2021. Visitation is at 10:00 am with service at 11:00 am with Reverend Ryan Anderson officiating.
