Harold "Hal" Wilson, 49, of Bartonville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1964 in Clinton, IL the son of James and Lotus Poor Wilson. Surviving are two daughters Amber Wilson of Peoria, and Breelyn Wilson of Bartonville, one granddaughter Hailey as well as three sisters Sherry Hansen of Peoria, Penny Nixon and Mark Sobota of Creve Coeur and Tammy Wilson of Peoria. Further surviving is his stepfather Wesley Perry of Peoria, many nieces nephews and his special friend Connie. His parents preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1981 until being honorably discharged in 1991. He was a self-employed painter. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. A nice cold Budweiser, Cardinal game with friends was a perfect Sunday. All who knew Hal will dearly miss him. Cremation rites have been accorded, and the family will receive friends from noon until 4pm Sunday, September, 22nd at the Eagles Lodge #265 1704 S East Lane in Peoria to celebrate Hal's life. The family will accept memorials to establish a trust fund for Children.
