Harriet A. Waddle

Harriet A. Waddle, 69, of Hanna City formerly of Bartonville passed away at 7:12pm Monday, April 14, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on July 29, 1944 in Madison, IL the daughter of Gilbert J. and Helen A. Banks Wilkinson. She married Paul Waddle on March 24, 1976 in Bartonville. He passed away on December 12, 1985. Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are six children Colette (Brad) Zook of Bartonville, Paul "PJ" Waddle of Hanna City, Gilbert (Ashley) Waddle of Farmington, Randy Morris of Libertyville, Bobbie Buskirk and Jeff Waddle both of Bartonville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, one brother Robert (JoAnn) Wilkinson of Henderson NV, and one sister Wanda Tormino of Benld, IL.

Harriet was a former beautician at Bernadine's Beauty Shop and Lady's-N-Gents for over 30 years. She also was a school bus monitor for First Student, Inc and then Illinois Central Bus Company for many years. Harriet enjoyed many things in life including cooking, music, and dancing but especially loved spending time with her family. She was a very giving and compassionate mother and grandmother and will be missed every day.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends at Marshall's in Bartonville on Saturday April 19, 2014 beginning at 1:00pm to celebrate her life.
