Jacqueline Veatch

Jacqueline F. (Jackie) Abbey Veatch, 56, of Peoria died unexpectedly at her residence on May 27, 2016. She was born March 12, 1960 in Peoria to John and Mary Bowers Abbey. She was the 5th of 6 daughters and grew up in East Peoria, Illinois. She graduated from the Academy of Our Lady in Peoria and attended Illinois Central College. On October 22, 1999 she married Kevin D. Veatch in Pekin, Illinois. He survives. Also surviving are her parents of East Peoria, daughter Amber Abbey (Josh Bateman) of Elmwood and their 2 daughters, step-sons Cory L., Jamie M. and Kodie L. Veatch, all of Peoria, sisters - Mary (Chuck) Sieg of Lewistown, Il, Cora Glick (Darrell Waggoner) of Peoria, Joan (Ed) Tucker of Lebanon, TN, Jean (Dan) Zucksworth of Peoria, mother-in-law Barbara Veatch of Peoria, sister-in-law Debbie (Terry) Gothman of Topeka, Il and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, sister Linda Bruninga, and father-in-law, Lester Veatch. She worked with her husband as a contractor. She was of the catholic faith.
