James E. Mitchell, 76, of Washington passed away peacefully at 1:15 am Monday December 26, 2011 at Washington Christian Village. He was born on May 6, 1935 in Peoria the son of Edward L. and Mildred A. Bastian Mitchell. Surviving are his companion Vickie Lundstrom of Washington. Also surviving are three sisters Robert (Marlene) Lawless and Terry (Carol) Beavers both of Washington and Richard (Jo-ann) Siverly of Metamora. He was a truck driver for Whenes Trucking in Washington for many years. Cremation Rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Memorials may be given in name to TAPS.
