James D. Reynolds Jr

James Donald Reynolds Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 11:11am on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the home of his brother. He was born on December 27, 1953 in Peoria to the son of James and Marjorie Langston Reynolds. Surviving are two sisters Julie Reynolds-Gordon wife of Robert, Susie Reynolds and brother Rick Reynolds husband of Yancy. Also surviving are 5 nieces and nephews; Erika Reynolds, Melissa Reynolds-Pressler, Ashley Reynolds, Lucy Gordon, Nick Reynolds and Jeff Gordon. His parents and his little brother Mikey preceded him in death. Jim attended Colorado Rocky Mountain College in the 1970's and worked in a family business for 35 years. His passions included his pets, pastoral and still life sketch art and audio field recording natural and animal life. Honoring his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Private services will be held. Memorials in his name may be given to OSF St. Francis Hospice 2265 W. Altorfer Dr. Peoria, IL. 61615 or Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) in Pekin.
