Janice Mcquellon

Janice L. McQuellon, 62, of Pekin passed away at 6:36am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on May 19, 1952 in Peoria the daughter to Rayburn and Winnifred Booth. Surviving is her life partner Dennis M. McQuellon of Peoria, two daughters Tracey (George) Meegan of Panama City Beach, FL and Holly M Shields of Peoria, one brother Ronnie (Linda) Booth of Washburn and one sister Joyce Booth of Pekin. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Randi and Jesse Booth and Daniel Shields, as well as two great grandchildren Colby-Rae Booth and Zachary Shields. Her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She worked in the bar restaurant business for many years. She later worked for Hucks Convenient Food Store for 15 years. She was a devoted mother, loving wife and a great friend and will be missed by all. Honoring her request, cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 4pm until 5:30pm. A memorial service will then be held at 5:30pm all at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills.
