Jeanne Detrempe

Jeanne E. DeTrempe, 79, of Bartonville passed away at 6:15am on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on January 16, 1934 in Peoria the daughter of John and Dorothy Hofer Kitlan. She married Merle "Skip" DeTrempe on October 26, 1964. He passed away on June 21, 2009. She was also preceded in death by one daughter Kimberly Giannosa, and one sister Jacqueline Kelch. Surviving are two daughters Jeanine (George) Raithel and Judi (Nick) Martinez; one step-son Ron (Gail) DeTrempe. Also surviving are four grandchildren, two sisters Dorothy Ann (Garold) Doubet of Trivoli and Nancy (Roland) Kerker of Metamora. Cremation rites have been accorded with private services at a later date. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice in her memory.
