Jeffrey E. Mitchell, 52, of East Peoria, Illinois passed away on Friday, October, 6, 2017 in the emergency room of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Jeff was born on January 27, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of James and Carolyn (Sommer) Mitchell.

Surviving are his mother of Morton, Illinois along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His father, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Faith Evangelical Free Church in rural Metamora from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
