Jennifer Jill Dahl, 43, went home to be with her Lord on June 19, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was a child of beauty, a being of grace with the knowledge of duty plus life's joy on her face. She had a heart of compassion for the tired and weary. Her eyes laugh, but many times teary. Jennifer was born on December 1, 1971 in Peoria the daughter of William and Jill Crandell Dahl. Surviving is her mother Jill (Fred) Thomas of Germantown Hills, her father William (Evie) Dahl of East Peoria. She also leaves behind two wonderful sons that she loved more than life itself Andrew (Whitney) William Dahl of St. Mary's Naval Base in Kings Bay, GA and Kyle Alexander Noll of Washington. Also surviving are two brothers Casey J. (Tera) Thomas of Metamora and Todd Waechter of Chillicothe, IL: two sisters Shelly (Tim) Baily of Decatur, IL and Tracy Waechter of Germantown Hills, IL as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you from the family to Doug Talbert for the many years of loving and caring for Jennifer. He will always be in our hearts as he was in hers. Her sister Terri Lee Dahl, one aunt Kathy Ferre, one uncle Kenny Dahl, paternal grandparents Howard and Sis Dahl and maternal grandparents Luther and Rosanna Crandell preceded her in death. She attended Northwood's Community Church in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Jennifer's life will be from 4:30pm until 8:00 on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the East Peoria Boat Club on Collins Lane. Memorials in her name may be given to OSF St. Francis Hospice. Notes of condolences may be sent using www.peoriafuneral.com.
