Jennifer Jackson

Jennifer Lynne "Jenny" Jackson, 63, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 12:56 am on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria, IL.

She was born on July 25, 1956, in Peoria, IL to Ralph M. Dean and Shirley Slater and was raised by her grandparents, Jesse, and Katherine Dean.  She married Richard Jackson.  Her husband, father, and grandparents who raised her all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie (Rob) Harris of  Washington; son, Derek Jackson of Pekin; and grandchildren, Kristopher, Kiersten, and Carter Harris.

Jenny was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War as a nurse.  She worked as a paraprofessional for Pekin Public School District 108 and at Schram Educational Center.  Jenny loved to cook.
