Jim D. Fisher

Jim D. Fisher, 64, of Bartonville, passed away Saturday February 4, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on October 3, 1947 in Carrollton, IL the son of Jeral and Erma Crater Fisher. He married Camiela Zumwalt on April 6, 1968. Jim served from 1965 until 1968 in the U.S. Air Force. He was a volunteer firefighter for Green Valley Fire Department; and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Fireman & Oilers. He retired after working 22 years at Ameren-Cilco. Jim is survived by his wife and their two children Jason (Kelly) Fisher of Washington, and Gina Fisher of Alton. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles L. Fisher and his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Memorials in his name are encouraged to the American Cancer Society or to the Tazewell Animal Protective Society.
