Jimmie R. Streeper, Jr., 63, of Canton passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April 11, 1949 in Peoria the son of Jimmie R and Phyllis Dodgen Streeper Sr. He married Teresa Boughman on January 27, 1974 in Peoria. Surviving is his wife of Canton, Two daughters Amy Streeper of Creve Coeur and Lisa Roberson of Canton. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one brother Gary Streeper of Canton and one sister Diane Behymer of Peoria. His parents, one son Jimmie R. Streeper III and one brother Fred preceded him in death. Jimmie was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran. He was employed by Public Works, City of Peoria for many years. He was an amazing and avid pool player in the Peoria area. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. At Jimmie's request cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends, on Wednesday April 3, 2013, from 4pm until 6pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, 1704 East Lane, in Peoria.
