Joan F. Cozens

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Joan Francis Cozens, aged 79, of Peoria, IL. She peacefully passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

Born on May 27, 1945, in Milwaukee, WI, Joan was the beloved daughter of the late William and Mildred Cox Cozens. She is survived by her daughter, Gina Pisel of Creve Coeur, IL; her grandson, Andrew Pisel; her granddaughter, Amanda (Dustin) Matusyzk; and her two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Owen Matusyzk. Her sister, Dale (Rob) Parenteau of Westfield, MA, also survives her. Sadly, her son, Michael A. Garcia, preceded her in death.

Although there will be no public services, Joan's family will privately celebrate her life. In honor of her memory, her family invites you to share your favorite stories and cherished memories of Joan.
