Joann Cole

JoAnn Cole, 74 of Peoria passed away at 9:05am on Tuesday Dec 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on February 24, 1938 in Peoria the daughter of Samual and Winnie Bristol Murdock. Surviving are three daughters Teresa (Jimmie) Streeper of Canton, Wendy (David) Voegele of West Peoria and Marsha (Armando) Soto-Betancourt of Peoria; one son Robert Hale of Pekin. Also surviving are one brother Ronald (Linda) Booth of Washburn, two sisters Janice McQuellon and Joyce Booth of Pekin as well as 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild preceded her in death. She was a lifetime member of Pogo Kickaxx Bingo and a former member of the Disable Veterans Peoria Chapter Women's Auxiliary. Cremation rites have been accorded with a Celebration of Life Service at 4pm on Wednesday Jan 2, 2013 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #265 in Peoria. Memorial contributions may be given in her name to the Meadows Veterinary Clinic of East Peoria for the continued care of her two dogs named Spirit and Shady and her cat named shadow.
