JoAnn Sellers, 69, of East Peoria, Illinois, passed away at her home on Friday, October 9, 2026.

She was born on April 29, 1957, in Peoria, to Herman and Hazel Scohy Brinker. She married Arthur Sellers on August 28, 1987, in Peoria. He passed away on April 28, 2024.

She is survived by her two sons, Christian Graff of Creve Coeur, Illinois, and Dewey Graff Jr. of East Peoria, and four grandchildren, along with one great grandson. Also surviving is one brother, Donald Brinker Sr. of East Peoria.

She spent many years working as a waitress at Steak ’n Shake, Avanti’s, and Pizza Inn.

She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. She also enjoyed watching her soap operas and playing Pogo games on the computer, where she earned badges for her impressive skills. She loved watching movies, sharing a laugh, and dancing along to ’80s music, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial will take place at Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services, Peoria has been entrusted with arrangements.
