Joanne Bohm

Joanne K. Bohm, 78, of Peoria, gracefully departed this world on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Timber Creek Nursing Home in Pekin, IL.

Born on October 23, 1946, in Peoria, she was the cherished daughter of Earl and Violet Hart.

Joanne is survived by her children, Kirk (fiancé Dawn Parks) Bohm of Bartonville, IL; Jamie (Kim) Bohm of Cleveland, TN, Derek (fiancé Emily Severns) Bohm of Creve Coeur, IL.; step daughter Penny (Dave) O'Day. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters Lori Hart, Kandy Christianson, Diane Edwards, Gloria Davis, Teri Graham,  and one brother Mike Baker. She was preceded in death by one step-daughter Melissa Bohm, one sister and one brother.

A true adventurer at heart, Joanne adored traveling to Tennessee to visit family, always bringing along a grandchild and her beloved Shih Tzu, Toby J. An Elvis Presley enthusiast, she had the memorable experience of attending his memorial at Graceland. After a fulfilling career with Lutheran Social Services, Joanne found joy in collecting porcelain dolls and crafting unique homemade treasures. A passionate photographer, she loved capturing moments and preserving them in beautiful albums. Above all, she deeply cherished her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

While there will be no public services, Joanne's family will privately honor her life. To celebrate her memory, they invite friends and loved ones to share their favorite stories and memories of Joanne. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
