Joetta Gibbs

Joetta Gibbs, 69, of Pekin, IL passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 with family by her side.

She was born to the late Harold and Charlotte Sarnes on February 26, 1954 in Kewanee, IL. Joetta is a graduate from Sterling High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylen Gibbs, and they last resided in Lakeview, AR. Since then, she relocated to Granite City, IL.

She is survived by her son Bobby (Robert) Irion of Chillicothe, IL; two sisters Christine Sarnes of Conway, AR and Lori Jones of Ogden, UT and one brother Harold Sarnes of Nixa, MO, along with two grandsons, three nephews and two nieces.

Joetta loved to quilt, crochet, read and cook. She will be missed by her family and friends.
