John "J.C." Groel

John "J.C." Groel, 55, of Creve Coeur, IL formerly of Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on November 3, 1957 in East Orange, NJ the son of Harold and Kathleen Capps Groel. Surviving are one brother Harold C. Groel II of Creve Coeur; two sisters Robin Allen and Kathy Groel both of Gainesboro, TN. Further surviving is his caregiver of 9 years Cathy Groel of Creve Coeur and caregivers Michael Ludwig and Stephanie Morris, as well as several nieces and nephews. His parents and one sister April Groel preceded him in death. Cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
