John C. Knight

John C. Knight, 68, of Sunnyland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 25, 1947 in Nicholasville, KY the son of Harvey and Ruby Woods Knight. He married Mary A. Hart on June 1, 1969 in Chillcothe, IL Surviving is his wife, one son Michael S. (Tracie L. Campbell) Knight of Washington, one granddaughter Mya S. Knight, one niece Tanya L. Ordaz of Pie Town, NM and a Nephew Paul A. Knight of Cleveland, OH along with a host of other nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was one infant brother, one brother Paul Knight and two half sisters. He was a machinist at Morton building, INC and a janitor at Foster and Gallagher, Inc. He was of the Christian faith. John was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved football, baseball and Nascar and was always fun loving and his family was his world. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
