John Marshall

John B. Marshall, 70, of Peoria passed away peacefully on the morning of October 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born on January 17, 1943 in Cairo, IL the son of James and Geneviere Knisley Marshall. He married Gloria Harris on April 21, 1968 in Carbondale, IL. Surviving are his wife, one daughter Alisa Brand, one son John L. Marshall all of Peoria. Also surviving is one grandson Daniel Marshall and one great grandson Zayden Marshall. One brother and one sister preceded John in death. A U.S. Navy veteran, he worked for P&PU railroad in East Peoria for many years retiring in 2003. He was a member of Riverside Community Church.
