Joseph N. Bauer

Joseph Nicholas Bauer, 86, of Morton, Il. passed away at 5:25pm Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his residence. He was born November 20, 1930 in Joliet, IL to Joseph and Frances (Zugel) Bauer. Survived by 4 children: Debra Kelley and Theresa Nealis both of Joliet, Thomas Bauer (Pauline) of Bloomington, Lisa Bauer (Craig Baugher) of Joliet, IL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother George, and beloved daughter Susan. Joe worked at Caterpillar for over 30 years at the Joliet and Morton plants. He was a sports enthusiast with a lifelong love of the Chicago White Sox. He also loved golfing and fishing. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be at Hillcrest Memory Garden Cemetery in Washington IL on Thursday, March 16th 2017 at 2:00PM.
