Joseph Petrone

Joseph Robert Petrone, 31, of Mapleton passed away at OSF in Peoria on August 1st, 2017. He was born September 6th, 1985 in Peoria to Michael D and Annette L Petrone. He married Katie Noonan on April 12, 2005 in Peoria. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Hoffman of Missouri. Joe is survived by his wife Katie and his two daughters Abigail Elizabeth and Aubree Jane, his father Michael and stepmother Julie Petrone, his mother Annette Petrone, a brother Anthony M Petrone (Cary) and a sister Nicole L Thompson (Robert) and his paternal grandparents Michael and Lola Petrone and maternal grandmother Ruth Hoffman. He was a beloved uncle to four nephews and two nieces Joe worked as an HVAC technician for Eichenauer Services Inc. He previously worked in maintenance for NHS Properties. Joe was a veteran serving in the US Army 101st Airborne Screamin' Eagles in Fort Campbell Kentucky.His hobbies included fishing, boating and sightseeing with his wife and two adorable daughters, who were his pride and joy. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:00 am at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, located at 2201 E Washington St, East Peoria. Pastor Fred Doughty will officiate. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Joe's daughters.
