Joseph W. Powers Ii

Creve Coeur - Joseph Warren Powers II, age 64, of Creve Coeur, IL formerly Butler Pennsylvania, passed away at 3:15pm on December 6, 2017, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, surrounded by his family.

He was born April 23, 1953, in Natrona Heights, PA. the son of Joseph W. and Alma G. (Baker) Powers. On May 5, 1992 he married the love of his life Jill A. Clemons.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Powers of Creve Coeur; nine children Jami (Anthony) Valli of Los Angeles, California, Kelly Huebscher of Hermitage, TN, Joseph Powers III, Sheila Powers, Eric Powers, Brian Powers, Jackie Powers, Sara Powers & Brooke Donaldson (Kobert). Also surviving are, seven grandchildren and one great grand-daughter, along with two sisters Bonnie (Gary) Rudert of West Milford, N.J., and Barbara (James) Jones of Cabot, PA. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mrs. Diane (Larry) Dovey of Butler, PA.

Joe was a plasterer for the majority of his life, rounding out his career doing auto body and mechanic work for neighbors, friends and family. He loved to tinker on old cars and most of all, chasing the ultimate "big" fish. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who is dearly loved and is deeply missed.
