Joseph E. Williams Jr

Joseph E. Williams Jr., 61, of East Peoria passed away at 5am Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1953 in Peoria the son of Joseph E. and Verna L. Smith Williams Sr. He married Jean D. Blackorby on May 30, 2008 in Pekin. Surviving are his wife of East Peoria, one daughter Stacey (Kenny) Callear of East Peoria and one son Eric Williams of Peoria. Also surviving are four grandchildren, two great granddaughters, four sisters Tina Woods, Dawn Horton, Becky Baker all of Peoria and Vickie White of Houston, TX. Further surviving are two brothers Robbin (Sophie) White of Chicago, and Sean Francis of Peoria. His parents and one infant son Nickolas Scott Williams preceded him in death. He was a chef for several restaurants in East Peoria for many years. He had many enjoyments in life including watching football and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed watching horror movies, fishing and many other outdoor activities, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 1pm until 6pm at the Center Tap, Inc. 110 Center St. in East Peoria.
