Joyce H. Mcdaniel

Joyce Hope McDaniel, 75, of Peoria, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to the late John Morris Pears and the late Margie Jeanette DesRocher, March 31, 1939. Joy graduated from Peoria Central High. She married the late Kenneth McDaniel on December 15, 1961. She was a retiree from Caterpillar. She loved hunting, fishing, and boating. Joy was passionate about family. Joy is survived by two children: Randy McDaniel, wife Trudy, of Indianapolis, and Melissa Hope McDaniel, of Peoria. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Brandon and Melody, children of Melissa, and Megan Hope, daughter of Randy. She too is survived by three great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Neomyiah, sons of Brandon, and Aaliyah, daughter of Melody. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate her life will be Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills.
