Judith Ann Conner passed into heaven on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Heddington Oaks in Peoria. Judy was born in Dallas, Texas on July 30, 1943. Before moving to Peoria, she resided in the Dallas area for many years. Being a friend of Bill W in Dallas & Peoria brought many good friends into Judy's life. Judy will be remembered for her desire to have fun, being a free spirit and her faith in God. God gave her a talkative friendly nature and she never met a stranger. She was blessed with many loving friends at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church and their visits and prayers meant a lot to Judy and her family. She loved being a Grandma for the Peoria Foster Grandparents Program for 8 years. Judy and her family are grateful for the loving and attentive care given by the staff at Heddington Oaks over the last several months. Her son Terry Griffith, father Oren Conner, sister Brenda Ernst & husband Keith along with 3 granddaughters, a grandson, and a great grandson will miss Judy. Her daughter, Kim McCullough; mother, Ann Conner and her grandparents preceded Judy in death. Honoring Judy's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Judy's life will be 3pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church in Peoria with Rev. Sunny Mooney officiating. Judy's remains will be placed at her daughter's grave in Texas.
