Karl Downs, 62, of East Peoria passed away at 5:10am, Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Fondulc Wood Rehabilitation Center in East Peoria, IL.

He was born on January 24, 1958 in Lubbock, TX.  Surviving are one son Kristopher( Crystal) Downs of Peoria; His mother Betty Burnett of Conroe, TX; four grandchildren Knevea, Kaycey, Kinzlei and Kyileia.  His father, one son Karl T. Downs and two brothers preceded him in death.

A truck driver for his entire life, he last worked in 2007 due to health reasons.  Karl was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
