Kenneth E. Wolland, 84, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Saturday, September 19, 2026. 

Ken was born in August of 1942, in Peoria, Illinois, to Henry and Edna Wolland. On February 3, 1962, he married the love of his life, Judi, in Glasford, Illinois. Together, they built a life rooted in family, hard work, faith, and cherished memories. Judi preceded him in death on January 17, 2026.Ken's legacy lives on through his son, Jason (Kim) Wolland of Peoria, and his daughter, Kari (Kevin) Peterson of Kiln, Mississippi. He was a proud grandfather to Aaron (Kimberly) Wolland of Bartonville and Jenna Wolland of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a loving great-grandfather to William Wolland. He is also survived by his brother, Duane Wolland of Goodfield, Illinois, and his sister, Dixie Salemi of Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one grandson, Skyler Wolland; and one great-granddaughter, Natalie Wolland.

A United States Army Vietnam veteran, Ken served his country with honor. He later dedicated 40 years of hard work to Keystone Steel & Wire before retiring. Outside of work, Ken found some of his greatest joy with a fishing pole in hand, whether casting a line close to home or enjoying quiet days at the family cabin in Minnesota. Those moments reflected the things he loved most: nature, family, and the simple peace of being outdoors.

Ken was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville, Illinois, where his faith remained an important part of his life.

In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be scheduled for the spring of 2027, offering family and friends an opportunity to gather, share stories, and honor a life well lived.
