Leroy James Doane, Jr.

Leroy James Doane, Jr., age 81, of Creve Coeur, IL, formerly of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

He was born on February 5, 1939 in Rockford, Illinois to Leroy Doane, Sr. and Alice Henebry.

Leroy is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Donna Doane and his younger sister Lorretta Wheeler.

Leroy is survived by his companion of six years Joyce Seelye; daughter Carrie; sons Leroy "Jimmy" and Brian; sisters Mary and Alma; nine grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
